Historic Seaside Cottage

What a magic week. The location of the bach right on the edge of the estuary is absolutely the most relaxing spot. The tides coming and going, the birdlife, sea life and other people enjoying the estuary, I found there was always something to watch. I loved the kayak, the beach being so handy and the wild blackberries we found. Close enough to Dunedin and the cute shopping and cafe in Port Chalmers but remote enough to feel like your really away from it all.

Historic Seaside Cottage

Absolutely idyllic location and a fantastic location if you want to get away from the maddening crowds. Felt like taking a step back in time, NZ how it used to be. Would definitely like to return (for a longer stay)

Historic Seaside Cottage

This was our second stay in an idyllic spot..we were greeted on our second day by a friendly seal that visited us thereafter each day..love being so close to the water..highly recommend.
