Rivers Edge is a three bedroom chalet offering you a fabulous base for your Tongariro National Park alpine adventures. This spacious, modern fully insulated chalet is bright and cosy with a great location.
Open the curtains and the superb panoramic mountain & forest views are right in front of you with the river and forest surrounding the large side and back covered decks - perfect for outdoor dining and relaxing in any weather.
Everything you need is close by - with a short stroll to town to the supermarket, movie theatre, cafes, bars or restaurants. On the shuttle bus pick up route. A block away from Ohakune CBD, yet secluded in its own forest setting on the Mangateitei River.
Amenities include: three bedrooms - the master with king size bed & ensuite, second bedroom with king size bed and third bedroom with two single beds, main bathroom with large bath/shower.

We had a great stay at The Rivers Edge and found the house had everything we needed. Property has such a nice setting with the little river running along the back section, the kids enjoyed exploring outside. The kitchen is well set up for preparing all meals. The fire place warms the house nicely. Great to have towels and linen supplied as meant we had more room for the ski gear. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend to others.
