Whare Tirohanga is a north-facing holiday home and is situated in one of Russell’s most beautiful and secluded locations at Tapeka Point.
Set at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, just metres from the water’s edge, the house offers excellent 180-degree panoramic views over the Bay of Islands to Roberton Island and beyond, a great place to enjoy that well deserved morning coffee or breakfast in the sun during your holiday break.
The upper living area has wall-to-wall bi-fold doors which open out to to a large deck bringing the outdoors indoors – from the lounge, dining ane kitchen area.
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with queen beds, an office, and 2 bathrooms - downstairs 1 king bed that can be split into single beds 1 bathroom, small lounge area, and a full kitchen.
The house is very close to two beaches - one a sandy beach for excellent swimming and the other a great beach to explore the rock pool with the children or simply fish...

Special conditions
Christmas/New Year 19 Dec 10 – 9 Jan 11 minimum 7 night stay at all times. Off peak and shoulder - 3 night minimum night stay period on non-holiday season times as specified for each property. ALL NZ public holidays will be charged at the peak tariff.
BYO - bring your own, towels, sheets, beach towels etc
Hire Linen available on requests at $25.00 per person, per week or part there-of - This covers linen, bedding, pre-making of beds prior to arrival, towels, bath mats, kitchen linen.

We had a great holiday and really enjoyed the house. We loved the views from the living room, the modern and well maintained kitchen and bathroom, and the short walk to the sheltered beach.

Amazing house. Amazing views, great layout and design. House is equipped with everything you could wish for in a bach. Close to the beach, very quiet street. Pet friendly. Has BBQ and WiFi. Driveway is a bit steep, but looks like that's the norm for Russell.

Lovely views from the lounge and deck, we saw ocra's and dolphins. Our kids 10 and 8 loved swimming out to the platform. High quality fittings throughout the bach. Great for families with older kids, ads the glass bannisters and stairs would be tricky for preschoolers.
