Fernhaven is a new and comfortable retreat that nestles in the quiet Waiheke bush.
The house has a spacious lounge that is airy and cool adjoining a large modern kitchen.
High windows look to the sky and leafy setting.
Ranch sliders lead on to the secluded deck with a barbecue for easy holiday cooking.
Set amongst the ferns and native trees Fernhaven is a short distance between Palm Beach on the north coast with sand and safe swimming, and the market village of Ostend to the south with shops, cafes and restaurants.
Nowhere is far away on Waiheke.
It is a few minutes drive to the vehicle ferry at Kennedy point.
The long popular sandy beach and holiday centre of Onetangi is just over the hill.
Not far the other way is the main town of Oneroa and the Matiatia passenger ferry service to Auckland.
In a private and tranquil setting the home is suitable for a relaxing escape to rest and enjoy the bird song and the rustle of leaves.
It is a central base to venture and explore all of the Waiheke attractions from boating, swimming, dining, and visits to the many vineyards.

The property was immaculately presented, and well equipped. Being in the bush, it was a little cold, but was very peaceful. Overall, we had a great stay, and would certainly stay there again!
