Bigger than it looks.....A warm, private, fully renovated cottage with large deck and landscaped surrounds. Plenty of room for a tent and parking for your boat.
Breakfast on the sunny deck overlooking an expanse of olive trees, or relax in the shade under the mature pine trees in your own little arbour. A breakfast basket can be supplied on request. 24 hour notice required.
Plenty of outdoor seating for your BBQ or entertaining friends in the long summer evenings.
Your children are welcome to visit our chooks and feeding and collecting eggs can be arranged. Depending on the olive picking season, usually April/ May, guests in our cottage can join in the olive picking. We will show you how to pickle your own olives. Take some Poppawhiwhi pickled olives home with you to impress your friends and family!
Let the sound of the waves on nearby Karikari Beach and Tokerau Beach sing you to sleep.
Fish, snorkel, dive or surf nearby Matai Bay. 90 mile beach only 30 mins away. Fishing and diving charters can be organised on request.
Picnic Hampers are available on request.
A very easy day trip to Cape Reinga taking in Houhora Heads, The Gumdiggers Museum. Stop at beautiful Rarawa Beach with its shiny white sands. We can arrange for you to join our favourite tour if you prefer with a convenient pick-up at the Ancient Kauri Kingdom, Awanui.
A complimentary bottle (100ml) or Poppawhiwhi Extra Virgin Olive Oil for your enjoyment is part of our package.

Gate sales of EV Olive Oil, pickled olives and free range eggs are available for your convenience. (Eggs dependent on hens and demand!!!)
