Nice good value for money property. Of all the ones we stayed in during our time in NZ, this was probably the one that offered us the least in the way of facilities etc. as it was a little old and needed a little care and attention, however, nothing really to complain about. Was nice to drink a cup of tea on the decking (go armed with insect repellent though!) with stunning views. A good trek in to Paihia itself, largely because you're at the top of a very steep hill.

Location of the property was very good although the interior of was a bit dated and needed modernization which we understood was due to start taking place imminently. The decking area around the guest property is not able to accommodate a family sitting round a table. The member advised that the main decking area was available if the upstairs apartment was not in use but felt this could have been made clearer at the time of booking as it was photos of the main decking area used on the website.

The house was great! Everything was clean and as expected. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones I've slept in since living in New Zealand--had 2 wonderful nights of sleep! Beautiful views...everything we needed for a great weekend. Would definitely go back!
