Little Green House - Central Turangi

The Little Green House is a cute, cosy 2 storey house in a pleasant street.We are 2 minutes from the Tongariro River, 5 minutes to boat ramp, 5 minutes to Tokaanu hot pools, 45 km to ski fields, and a short walk to the Turangi shopping centre.There are some nice cafes in town now, as well as art and gift shops, along with a new New World and fishing shops of course! One of the nice places to go is the Trout farm for a picnic and kids fishing days are held regularly. The breeding programme is very interesting for young and old.


The house has a Kent log fire, with lots of dry wood and fire starters. We use the house ourselves regualrly so it is set up with everything you may need, including duvets, blankets, pillows, TVs, DVD player, Freeview, washing machine, dryer, all kitchen equipment, tea towels, detergent etc. Bits and bobs that every house needs. there is a highchair, toys, portacot, board games and lots of jigsaws. Baby gates which can be placed at the bottom and top of the stairs.

Downstairs there are two double bedrooms, kitchen, lounge, shower and toilet. Upstairs, there is another double bedroom and also a bedroom/lounge area upstairs with 2 single beds, one double mattress and one fold down couch, and 2 spare single mattresses.there are plenty of blankets for the beds.There is another TV upstairs for the kids.

There is a new front fence on the street with a secure bolt, So no worries with little ones escaping a big back yard for kids to have ball games in, and also plenty of room to park the boat and cars. It is a good neighbourhood. A great place to relax.Some of our best times there have been when the weather is not great, and we get the fire going, play scrabble, skip bow or do jigsaws, have glass wine and just chill!

And if you time it right there are gorgeous grapes, plums and hazelnuts to enjoy..
