This self-contained retreat with private access and courtyard is just across the road from Omapere Beach for great swimming and beautiful sunsets. The studio is set in a sub-tropical garden providing private and secure surroundings. It features a queen size bed with kauri carved headboard with ensuite, living area, full kitchen and dining area Only a 5 minute walk to shops, cafe and the Copthorne hotel and restaurant. Go fishing in the harbour off the rocks or try surf casting on the coast. Take a tour to the sand dunes or a nighttime ancient kauri forest trail. Check out the well tracked bush and coastal walks and discover waterfalls, birdsong and boulders. Kayak through the mangroves, go horse riding through the hills or visit local art and craft galleries and cafes. Or just sit back and enjoy the magnificent landscape of sea and bush.

The perfect place and location for a quiet getaway. Surrounded by luscious greenery (Janice has a beautiful garden!) and right across the road from the beach. The pier is only a few minutes walk away. A few cafes and shops really close by and also a pub/restaurant if you feel like going out for dinner or a beer/glass of wine. Would definitely recommend this place.

What an amazing place! It is definately a hidden treasure but also a secret worth sharing! The garden is amazing and has the biggest lillies I've ever seen. The entranceway with the cobblestones is incredibly tranquil and lovely to relax and read a book. Everything you could possibly require is there, ready and waiting. If you're ever up in the Hokianga, I highly recommend the Korari retreat as a destination for your acommodation.
