The bach literally sits at the start of two extraordinary hiking trails; the Tamahunga Trail, and the Pakiri Trail.
A 60 minute drive from Auckland.
Short drives on scenic roads will take you to 3 gorgeous beaches: Goat Island marine Reserve, Mathesons Bay and Pakiri Beach. Further afield is Omaha beach, Tawharanui Reserve Park, and Matakana with its boutiques, markets, galleries, crafts and wineries.
Stunning local restaurants - Sawmill Cafe, Ascension winery.
Try hiking, snorkelling, horse-riding, charter a fishing boat, catch the ferry to explore outlying islands.

LOVELY property, amazing views, lovely and quiet and secluded but still pretty close to everything to do in Leigh and Matakana. Our kids and dogs were very happy staying there - as were we. Would love to visit again!
