  •  The house was superb and fitted our needs well as we had two couples and our elderly father who all needed our own bedrooms. The location worked in well with meeting up with cousins, one of whom lived in Ruby Bay five minutes up the road, for our planned family get-together. We ate breakfast overlooking the stunning coastline and it was great to be able to turn the heatpump on, on our return to the house each day. 

  •  Atatu was fantastic for our family of 5. Not only is the location great (including the perfect street for kids to learn bike riding) but the house layout is perfect and it was well prepared prior to our arrival. Comfy beds too! Thanks Lou and Johnny!

  •  Very nice house kitted out with everything you need. 

  •  Very toddler-friendly (not just a travel cot but also high chair & stair gates) with a gorgeous, huge, flat enclosed garden. Clean, tidy, with everything you might need, and a fab well equipped kitchen. Great location seconds walk from the beach. Really quiet and peaceful. Only downside as others have noted is the mezzanine 'bedroom' is separated from the living room/dining room only by a white curtain - noise and light really impact this sleeping space if others are up. 

  •  Perfect location for exploring Nelson and the Abel Tasman National Park. The house is within easy reach of lovely sandy beaches, which are family friendly. Kina beach is very dramatic but a bit pebbly for sitting. The house is spacious and well equipped and the verandah offers a great place to sit and watch the sun go down. 

  •  A lovely place to stay, Great for families. Exceptionally clean and tidy, close to the beach, peaceful and no unexpected surprises. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to others, I would stay here again myself, good value for money. We are very satisfied with our stay here. 

  •  The property was in excellent condition and comfortably slept 6 of us. The location was excellent ideally located to enable travel into Nelson or further up north to the parks. Excellent beach to walk along and really close to Mapua for evening supper and drinks. Definitely look to stay here again and would recommend it highly. 

  •  What a stunning place. We would move there tomorrow. Very comfortable house with great beds, sun, view, deck and back lawn. Nice area for walks too. We'd love to come back in the summer.

  •  Our stay at Atatu was memorable. We were there in the lead up to and through our son's wedding at Woollaston Winery. It is in the perfect location - our own space but not too far from most of the others who were in the Mapua area. The house itself was just MAGIC - perfect for our needs. Beds very comfortable and the two bathrooms a real bonus as we all got ready for the big event. The house had anything and everything you needed; just take your food and you are all done!! A 5 STAR score from us 

  •  A great bach in a quiet spot - the bach is spotlessly clean and fresh. The beach is pebbley, so bring some water shoes. We really enjoyed our time here, it was a great place for exploring the region. We recommend highly to others! 

  •  The property is great and located just across the road to the beach! All our family enjoyed it! 

  •  Lovely sea views in a quiet spot with swimming over the road. The well equipped kitchen was equal to the task of cooking a full roast Christmas dinner! Very much recommended as a great house from which to explore the top of the South Island. 

  •  The house was clean and nicely decorated. The layout of the house suited us too, with the grandparents in the downstairs bedroom and bathroom and mum, dad & kids upstairs with the en suite bathroom. Grandparents commented that they enjoyed the shared living areas but it was nice for them to have a private area to relax for a nap or quiet read. The proximity to the beach was great and we also found plenty to see and do locally - Motueka, Mapua, vineyards. A most enjoyable stay. 

  •  4 of us found Atatu beach house is a good option for 2 couples as you can have your own bedroom & bathrooms. BEAUTIFUL views! Very close to sea at kina beach. Great location for exploring mapua, motuere, motueka in short drives. Well equipped kitchen. All the makings of a good kiwi holiday! Easy instructions provided with bach and in dealing with owners - rapid response via email. Very friendly. Would use again.
