Absolutely magnificent views of Golden Bay, including Farewell Spit and Tata Islands.

Children are welcome here, but it is not suitable for toddlers...as is situated on top of the cliff!

'Tata Headland' is on the top of Tata Peninsula with stunning unsurpassed outlooks from all angles, whilst still offering privacy and seclusion.

This tasteful house has 2 Bedrooms and is fully equipped including quality linen.
The open plan living area has comfortable sofas, a dining table seating 6 persons, a well equipped kitchen and opens onto the deck and cottage garden. The deck is equipped with outdoor furniture and a BBQ.
There is also a bunk-room in the garage for the teenagers.

There are acres of Trees including Avacados, Pawpaws and Walnuts, with loads of nooks perfect for a private picnic, or just laze in the hidden hammock.
There is a walkway through native bush down to the estuary and beach access.

Tata Beach is very popular and offers great swimming at any tide. This is the hub of water sports in Golden Bay. There is a boat ramp at Tata Beach and another at nearby Tarakohe Harbour.

From here you can explore the delights of the Abel Tasman National Park, Kahurangi National Park, Farewell Spit and our fabulously diverse Golden Bay. From mountain biking, rock-climbing, kayaking, horse-riding, fishing, (scallops and snapper can be caught in the bay). Or catch a Salmon at the salmon farm, have it smoked and take it home for dinner!
There are numerous other activities to keep you amused or go exploring the many art galleries and craft shops. And our restaurants and cafe's are excellent quality .
