Waipatiki has much more than just a fabulous beach. There are cliff walks north and south, bush walks, mountain bike tracks and a cricket wicket! All from the beach house so you can park up the car and enjoy your stay at whatever pace you choose. There is a creek that runs along the back of the beach and out to sea at the far end, which is fantastic for the smaller ones and provides hours of fun for all ages. The reserve has a concrete cricket wicket and is a great place for a game of soccer or for flying your kite. Take a few supplies a short walk around the cliffs and have a lunchtime cook up on a fire. Toasted marshmallows - yummy!

Waipatiki is a lovely little community with a great beach, good walks, and a wonderful reserve in front of the house for children to play on. The house was perfect. We had four generations of our family on holiday together and everyone had a wonderful time. There were things for all of us to do and the house worked really well for all of us. we would go back in an instant. I would heartily recommend Waipatiki and the beachhouse to anyone.

We had a fantastic time. There were six adults and seven kids but the house never felt crowded. The location was perfect and our only disappointment was that we were not able to stay for another week. Thank you.

The bach was an absolute delight to be in. The views from the kitchen/lounge was amazing and it was such a pleasure to sit by the fire and read at night. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything was very modern. The interior deco all came together very beautifully. The bed was very comfortable, shower was superb.
