We have a self contained/self catering cottage which has a kitchen/dining/lounge area, and a bedroom with a queen bed. There is a flip-out double couch in the lounge. A shower, no bath. A small, sunny patio area with table & chairs. In summer a pool is also available to cool off in. All immaculately clean and tidy.
All meals are self catering. Supplied are tea, coffee, sugar, s&p, & flour. Herbs and spices, plus anything you may have forgotten are available from the house. Portacot, highchair and washing machine available.
We live 20 minutes south of Hastings and only 20 minutes from the world famous Tuki Tuki and Waipawa trout fishing rivers. We can also offer information on the local wineries.
We are growing 170 olive trees and 65 truffle inoculated oaks/hazelnuts.
Extensive vege gardens, including strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and black currants for the house. Peach, apricot, apple, plum, almond, persimmon, quince and pear trees also for house supply, wild blackberry bushes down the road for jam, and 2 beehives for honey. Our vineyard supplies us with enough grapes to make a barrel and a half of red wine, and this is also for house supply!
We have a staffie called Poppy, our 2 muscovy ducks are Petunia and Pansy, and we have 5 hens who supply us with eggs. Please keep in mind our poultry is free-range if you are visiting with a dog.
Our road is only 3.5 km long so our valley is quiet and secluded.

Lovely place, friendly people and quiet. We would not have said it was immaculate, as there were cobwebs in the bedroom and hanging down in the showerand the shower drain had not been cleaned for some time , other peoples hair and dirt. It would have been a nice touch with the roses on the table but they had been dead some time, petals dropped. Plenty of appliances that you could use, and tidy.
