The Loveshack is located on the shore of Lake Rotoiti at Okere Falls 20km from Rotorua city off S.H.33 to Tauranga. A self contained cottage that is perfect for that Romantic Break you deserve. Relax amongst the native garden or bring your own boat and try your luck at fishing for Rainbow Trout or just playing on the water and visiting the many bays and beaches including the famous Manupirua Hot Pools which are only accessable by boat. On your return tie up at the jetty and step ashore. Visit the Okere Falls Store/Cafe/Beer Garden by boat or a short stroll. There are numerous activities close by including bush walks, white water rafting, golfing and thermal attractions. The Loveshack is also Pet Friendly.
For larger groups wishing to book the Love Shack, and needing an additional bedroom , the Pohutukawa room can be used as part of the total accommodation of the Loveshack. The Pohutukawa room is only rented as part of the Love Shack, not independently, and so guests are assured of an exclusive rental.
The room is equipped with queen bed, tv, small kitchenette & en-suite. The "Pohutukawa" room is very private, with wonderful lake views over a native bush setting. Please enquire separately for this room.

The bach is hidden away creating lots of privacy. Well equipped unit with everything you need. All you need is to take yourself there sit back and relax, enjoy being woken by the Tui's in the mornings and the stunning views of the lake. There are a few kayaks to use, enjoy the morning out on the Lake,a nd try your hand at fishing for a great feed later the day. The owners are friendly and helpful, thank you Guy and Jessica we enjoyed our stay and will be back soon!

The Loveshack was all we could have asked for and more - clean and cosy with a kitchen full of everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Its the perfect setting for a romantic getaway, we made sure to catch the last of the sun most evenings with a vino and yummy nibbles lake side and took full advantage of the Okere Falls store (a short walk or drive away) - backyard drinking/dining, great hot chocs & coffees and ANZAC biscuits to die for - we'll definitely be back and recommend to friends
