One of two baches on this large section situated on the lakefront with stunning views over Lake Rotoiti.
Large deck overlooking the lake, mezzanine floor - a lake view from just about every room!
The three double beds are in an open plan area on the mezzanine floor. This area is semi partitioned for privacy.
There is a bunk room under the deck which is more suitable for summer time containing a double bunk and a single bed.
Close to Hells Gate and a boat ride to the hot springs - great spot for water skiing, fishing, sailing or just lounging around!! There is no TV reception but plenty of other things to do!
Access is via a metal road through the Tikitere Forest.
Off road parking.
Boats:
There is a mooring available for use and the boat ramp is 150m down the road.
Please let us know if you want to use the boat mooring at the time of booking.
There is room for a boat to park off the road but we recommend a 4 wheel drive for the parking area in front of the bach, as the drive entry is quite steep.
Note: The property is not suitable for people with small children as there is a large internal staircase leading up to a mezzanine floor.
Pets by arrangement.
House Cleaning:
We are happy to arrange house cleaning for an extra fee of $60 - please discuss with us if you require this service. Otherwise please vacuum, clean the kitchen and bathroom areas before you leave, so the Bach is clean and tidy for the next lot of people to stay.

Stunning location.. on the sunny side of the lake. Beautiful sandy beach wonderfully child friendly. The Cedar bach was clean, warm and well equipped. VERY quiet (apart from the cheeky Tui's and the Morepork's. We even spent 1/2 hour outside just looking at the stars.. so clear and bright! Thanks for the use of the kayaks! Seriously hard to beat this place. We will be back.. (just as soon as possible). Thanks again, Tim, Silke & kids

Fantastic spot for a getaway. More spacious that I was expecting. Really close to the lake. Had everything we needed. Great for the kids. They loved swimming and jumping off the jetty at the secret beach through the hole in the rock, kayaking to hot water beach and seeing a wallabie in the forest one night. We'll definitely be back.
