Situated on the sheltered upper reaches of the beautiful unspoilt Whangaroa Harbour with sea and rural views from both inside this newly refurbished holiday home or out on the west facing deck. Two bedrooms upstairs with open plan living areas bathroom and kitchen. Another two bedrooms downstairs with own lounge/living area, toilet and shower plus the laundry. Large, well maintained section and garden offering peace and privacy during your holiday.

A famous destination for big game and recreational fishing. Sailing or fishing charters are available or, there is ample parking for your boat on a short/long term basis at Oyster House. Launch the boat from the Totara North boat ramp at the end of the road which is only two minutes drive.

There are many interesting walks locally, the most renowned being the Wairakau Track which is a Department of Conservation walking track and takes you to the stunning views of Pekapeka Bay (The Western Arm) of Whangaroa Harbour.
The Totara North Gumstore Bar & Grill not only has much of the local history on the walls but is a great place to meet the locals!

Golf Courses nearby include Kauri Cliffs Golf Course (30 minutes), Carrington Golf Course (45 minutes), Kerikeri Golf Course (30 minutes) and Whangaroa Golf Club (5 minutes).
Fabulous beaches all within 30 minutes drive are: Matauri Bay, Tauranga Bay, Taupo Bay and Coopers Beach/Cable Bay.

Oyster House is ideally situated to explore the rest of the North.
Kerikeri is 25 minutes and Paihia 40 minutes south while Mangonui, Coopers Beach, Taipa and Doubtless Bay etc are only 25 minutes north!

  •  Wonderful house, warm, welcoming and peaceful surroundings. Host was very thoughtful and helpful, thanks Anita 

  •  The house is spacious and beautifully kept. Restful views from every window for city-weary folk. Great proximity to many beautiful walks and also to a range of eateries (5-25 mins drive). As for the beaches, we weren't really there at the right time of year, but there is an abundance of choice of beautiful bays. We would gladly return. 

  •  we really enjoyed stying at the comfortable and peaceful house. A good base from which to explore northland
