Welcome to Bach One Nine, a stylish, self-contained holiday retreat in the heart of Ohakune. Only a 4 or 5 minute walk to Ohakune’s shops and cafes, Bach One Nine is situated in a quiet street with views of the mountain.
Bach One Nine offers comfortable, contemporary accommodation with a touch of Kiwiana. Relax in the cosy lounge with SKY TV while the kids watch a DVD or have fun with the Playstation in the Bunk room. Enjoy the log fire or use the heatpump for quick heat. Electric blankets and down-duvets are on the larger beds, whilst the new bathroom has instant gas hotwater. There is a monitored alarm for peace of mind, and a drying room for all ski and tramping gear.
Recent upgrades include re-insulation and a fully fenced section so it's safe for young children.
Guests can bring their own linen or we offer a linen service if required - $30 for up to 4 people per stay or $50 for 5 or more guests per stay.
It’s an easy 20 minute drive to Mount Ruapehu and Turoa ski field. For larger groups, our friends own the house next door and both properties can be booked (see "Rugen Lodge", no 2989).

Our family had a fantastic weeks holiday in this warm, comfortable, modern, clean house. Its very cosy & has everything you need. Its location is brilliant, walking distance to local restaurants, mountain biking tracks and the ski field. The layout of the house works really well for one or two families. The owners are very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
