PRIVATE HOLIDAY HOME IN OHAKUNE (Junction area).
A perfect base near Mt Ruapehu. Ideal for couples, families and smaller groups. Sleeps 4-6 people.
Cozy and comfortable bach, in peaceful but central location (between Ohakune township and the Junction).

- Skiing and boarding on world-famous Mt Ruapehu (Turoa, Whakapapa and Tukino ski fields).

Downstairs: 1 private double bedroom.
Upstairs mezzannine floor: 1 double bed + 2 single beds (open plan but separated with wooden beam / divider). Spare mattress.
Walking distance to the Junction (800 metres) - great nightlife, The Powderkeg / Matterhorn, ski hire, shops, and restaurants. Close to Ohakune township (800 metres) for New World and shops.
Easy drive to both the Turoa (20mins) and Whakapapa (35mins) ski fields (shuttle transporation can also be booked and the shuttles do pick-ups - enquire at Ohakune i-SITE visitor centre).
Electric heating (two heaters) + thermal curtains.
Fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, fridge, microwave.
Bathroom (bath and shower), separate toilet.
Small drying rack/cupboard by entrance, washing line on outside deck.
Lounge area with sofa, table/chairs, bay window with seating - with views of Mt Ruapehu, great to sit and admire the view!
Parking available outside the property.
Guests must bring own linen / towels (duvets and pillows supplied), or sleeping bags.

We loved staying here. It was an awesome bach - both as a base for the Tongariro crossing and then for relaxing and recovering the next day. A definite thumbs up on this one.
