This is a comfortable 2 storey holiday house located in a quiet cul-de-sac, 5 minutes walk from the lake and boat ramp and a 2 minute walk to a grass reserve with new tennis courts,basketball court and playground.The house enjoys all day sun and has spectacular views of southern Lake Taupo and the Kaimanawa Ranges.Two of the bedrooms ( including Master ) and living room open onto a large sunny deck with outdoor table, chairs and barbeque.The downstairs bedroom opens onto a flat private lawn. We have just lined and painted the garage and added a ranchslider door-and added carpet, sofa, television and a set of double bunks ( single over double)-which adds sleeping for another 3 people. There is offstreet parking and a flat private section-ideal for children.
Kuratau is located 5-10 min to the Tokaanu hot pools,15 min to supermarket,shops and attractions in Turangi and less than 1 hour to the Whakapapa skifield.

This is a great location for a family holiday. Walking distance to the lake, park, tennis courts and a nice quiet culdesac for the kids to ride their bikes. Close enough to the ski fields and hot pools perfectly positioned for the return journey. Plenty of space and beds for two families. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great space, 6 children and 3 adults in the middle of winter. nice to come back to after a days skiing. woiuld definately rent again.
