  •  Property and setting were gorgeous. Virtually immaculate maisonette, garden well tended, great selection of natives. So close to the lake, stunning view, lovely birdlife.

  •  Truly magical! Words don't do this place and location justice so you'll have to check it out for yourself. Highly recommended. 

  •  The location is stunning. 4 miles from Queenstown in a a very secluded location overlooking Lake Wakatipu. The house is delightful. No noise, no light pollution, just a perfect getaway holiday home. 

  •  Great place to stay!!! Very relaxing and peaceful. Forgot to fill in the guest book on site but recommend others advice. Enjoy the fact that you get the place to yourselves and don't get daily service for cleaning, etc. Makes it feel more like your 'own' piece of paradise. 

  •  Just amazing location with a fantastic manual and a guest best things to do file which is well worth a read we ended up too busy doing them all to add to them sorry. Just book it 

  •  Pros- beautiful location. Very private. Great design if you're not there in a heatwave! Well equipped, owners own Manuka honey given as gift. Cons. - Hard, scratchy, small towels sun-dried hard. Small bed unless on honeymoon. Mattress sags a little in the middle. No 'niceties' like tea, coffee, a small jug of milk, fruit, or MOST importantly Bug spray to fend off sand flies. Still have the scars more than 2 weeks on!No-one around to help us work the washing machine. We thought it was broken.

  •  Wonderful property can't think of a better place to stay. Close to Queenstown but not right in town so we could go "home" and enjoy the tranquil setting on the Lake Wakatipu. 

  •  LOVED this spot! Tranquil setting right on the lake front made for an extremely peaceful and relaxing break from reality. We will definitely be returning - thank you!

  •  Lakeside Maisonette is just wonderful!! I would definitely recommend this house - especially for those wanting a romantic getaway. The location is spectacular - it was unbelievable to wake up to those views every morning - and the house is warm and very comfortable. The jetty & the lakeside walking path are an added bonus. We loved sitting on the jetty in the afternoon and sharing a nice glass of red! We would love to come back one day. I can't think of a more beautiful place that I've been 

  •  The property was exactly as it looks on the website. I felt like I was living inside a postcard. The owners were friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience that I often re-live when I close my eyes. 

  •  Maisonette is an outrageously beautiful place to stay. The views are spectacular, facilities top class and there is a plentiful supply of firewood. Double glazing throughout means you only need a small amount of firewood to keep toasty warm. Downstairs aircon is perfect for warmth at night, though the feather duvet is beautifully warm. Excellent linen throughout. The honey supplied from the onsite bee hives is a wonderful touch :-) 

  •  This is hands down one of the most peaceful and beautiful places Ive stayed in. The Maisonette itself has everything you need for a few days away and the hosts are great. 

  •  The Lakeside Maisonette is just a magical pocket of paradise. Surrounded by nothing other than the sounds of birds and waves lapping against the shore. The Maisonette was the perfect place to go back to after the days up on the ski fields. Would definately want to come back :o) 

  •  You must stay here! Views and ambience are almost beyond compare. Just the place to kick back and relax in wonderful surroundings. Highly recommended.

  •  We stayed at Lakeside Maisonette for 8 days at the end of June. The place was magnificent. A perfect hidewaya cottage with amazing views and total peace and quiet. It was easy to organise with the owners being a pelasure to deal with, very responsive and made sure the place was ready with a nice warm fire for our arrival. We would definitely recommend. 

  •  Property is a gem, the maisonette was perfect for the two of us. Such unbelievable views that are staggering. The house is warm and cosy with the log fire and everything we needed was there. My pick of the lot... love this place! 

  •  Stunning purpose built 2 level Chalet/Apartment in an equally stunning location. Only 10 minutes by car from town & 20 minutes from the Airport but you could be miles from anywhere. Amazing views from every room. Talk about a shower with a view!! Full almost floor to ceiling windows slide open if required even in the bathroom/shower. Kitchenette well equipped enough to prepare a Dinner, in our case on the Bar b q. Nice fireplace upstairs & plenty of wood, Heat pump in bedroom very good. 5 stars
