Moonlight Bach - beachfront at Scandrett Bay

Built by Geoff Moon and Charles Light in the 1950s, this bach is eclectic, eccentric and enchanting. Wake up just metres from the sea and watch the sun go down from the verandah in the evening.

This property consists of one bedroom in the main dwelling, and two sets of bunks in the nearby sleepout.

The bach is on the waterfront at the western end of the beach, last in the line of three, nestled under cliffs and surrounded by pohutukawa trees.

Cleaning: Visitors to clean-up and leave the property as found.

Special conditions

Peak Rates apply 1st October through 31st May all public holidays and all weekends throughout the year (weekends consist of Friday and Saturday nights).
Off peak rates apply to week days (Sunday through Thursday nights) 1st June through 30th September and exclude public holidays.
The maximum nights able to be booked is seven consecutive nights over the peak period (October through May), and fourteen consecutive nights over the off-peak period (June through September).
