Rose Lodge is a three bedroom home fully furnished with a separate sleep out. It is fully equipped and insulated. A woodburner with firewood provided gives warmth in living areas.The dining room is open plan. All bedrooms have heaters and all beds have electric blankets except the two bunks in the sleepout. In the lounge there is a TV DVD player /recorder and stereo. Digital Sky is available with your own decoder and remote. The bathroom contains a basin ,bath,and a separate walk-in shower. There is ample hot water. The toilet is separate. The laundry contains a tub washing machine and dryer. The property has a lovely scenic outlook, it is fully fenced with parking, protected by security lights and there is plenty of on-street parking also. Close to the lake and the mountains, wonderful for winter and summer get-aways. Whakapapa is 35mins away, you can view the tops of Ngaruahoe and Tongariro from the house. Taupo is 40mins. Centre of town and river is 2-3mins and Tokaanu hot pools within 5min by car.

All good,the home is clean and has most home from home items. Will hopefully be going back when we know the weather will be ok. Certainly used the log fire and boy it was needed.

House was really clean and cosy, and there is a cute 'trout' motif on just about everything - very kitsch. Was perfect for what we needed. Cheers.

Great place to stay. Everything you need is available, very warm, great fire and firewood. Plenty of room for kids both inside and in the secure garden. We will definitely be back next year. Loved it!
