Oka Cottage is a modern, self contained country cottage over looking Tasman Bay, with 360 views of the Richmond and Mt Arthur Ranges.
It is close to the historic village of Wakefield, with golf course,cafe and gallery
Easily found off State Highway6,only 20 minutes from Nelson and one hour from Nelson Lakes. It is central located for accomodation when wishing to explore both Nelson and Tasman regions. Ideal if you wish to travel north or south via the West coast

Relax with peace and tranquility, listen to bird song.
No light pollution so gaze at the Starry night sky or by day wonder through the extensive gardens.
Feel free to swim in the inground pool or take a trip to near by Rabbitt Island for a sea swim.

Oka Cottage is a wonderful location away from the hustle and bustle of Nelson, but close enough for a day trip. A beautiful setting, you have your own privacy but the wonderful hosts are close by if you have questions or needs. We stayed for 4 days and combined art galleries and rest - what a great combination! We will stay there again as we had a wonderful time and completely enjoyed our hosts.

Beautiful property and lovely cottage. Had everything we needed and more. The pool was fantastic and the family very welcoming. Will definitely be back!

This bach is set in a lovely rural setting surrounded by other lifestyle properties. It is private but still close to the main house where you are welcomed to use the pool. The house feels spacious, we had 10 for christmas day and there was plenty of space for everyone without feeling like we were ontop of each other. Wonderfully quiet and easy to find. We all really enjoyed the container of berrys that where delivered unexpectedly during our stay. wonderfull place would highly recommend it.
