The house had a great view but was quite run down. We didn't want any guests to sleep in the downstairs room as it was very damp. The games room was great with an amazing fire and there was a lot of space for us to spread out. The boys enjoyed the badminton equipment although the $5 charge for each shuttlecock broken was very high given all of the shuttlecocks broke in the first 10 minutes of normal use. Also the tennis court is actually an area of grass which is quite uneven and unkept.

The downstairs room is not used as frequently as the main house & may need airing on arrival and a dehumidifier is provided to assist. The tennis court’s evenness of bounce is perhaps not on par with Wimbledon & this is to be expected given the rather large volcano which can be seen from our amazing view. A fault here really is a fault! The court has a net and fencing. Shuttlecocks are expensive as we replace them often and continue to do this as guests never own up to breaking them, until now
