  •  Absolutely lovely apartment, views were amazing and free WIFI which was fab, would definitely stay again.

  •  The views from Clifftop Apartment are fantastic, and the house is set in splendid gardens with a lovely patio overlooking them. Inside, we appreciated the window screens so we could enjoy the breeze without bugs. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I would have liked something easier to cook on than a 1-burner hot plate. We enjoyed reading the books & magazines on New Zealand topics. 

    •  Hi Bonnie, Thanks for your lovely comments and feedback. Perhaps you are not used to or do not like the electric frying pan that is supplied as well as the hot plate. We could also supply an electric steamer and/or an electric grill. There is not room to easily keep the grill and steamer in the apartment but I will put a note that tells people they are available.   •  This apartment has a wonderful view to enjoy from EVERY room in the house. It was so relaxing to look out over the bay all day or night, and hear the sounds of the ocean below. Yet such total privacy, even from the deck that looks out over the Kaikoura coastline. And the apartment was very comfortable also for our needs, as just the two of us. A real treat for a quiet few days.

  •  The views from this apartment are the best in Kaikoura, we had a great 2 night stay. The location is a 2 min drive to town, approx 20min to walk but it is peaceful and quiet. Loved it and would stay again...

  •  Myself and my wife loved this hilltop apt. Amazing views over Kaikoura and easy access to the town to do whale watching and a superb Maori experience. Apt has all the mod cons and is very quiet. Also has a lovely decking area to sit out and enjoy the sunset over the Pacific Ocean! Highly recommended. Thanks Robert & Martha! 

  •  having read other reviews on The Clifftop Apt, we were very excited about our stay and we weren't disappointed. We arrived quite late and so had to wait until this following morning to discover just how spectacular our view would be. In the meantime, we had the delight of making ourselves at home in this most tastefully bijou apartment. Home-from-home can be an overused phrase, not in this case tho'! Don't even think about staying anywhere else when in Kaikoura. The apt and its owners are A+++ 

  •  Clifftops is a lovely self contained apartment, with a beautiful garden in a truly magical location. Rob and Martha, the owners are the perfect hosts and make you feel most welcome. A gem of a place.
