This property is the ideal base for your Taupo & Central Plateau activities. Enjoy skiing or snowboarding at Whakapapa or Tukino Skifields. Tramp the Tongariro Crossing, Kaimanawa or Pureora State Forests. 5 minutres away is Turangi touted as the Trout Fishing Capital of World Fish the many pools along the Tongariro River, the lake and other local streams. Bring your own boat (off street Parking/Washdown), kayak or hire a boat and enjoy the lake. Mountain Bike and 4wd tracks abound. Try the 42 Traverse, Fishers Road, or the many tracks in the Kaimanawa or Pureora State Forest
Or just enjoy the piece and quiet, have a soak in the hot pools at Tokaanu, wine tasting at River Wines or at Kuratau or dine out at the local restaurants or further afield at Taupo or the Chateau or alternatively bring a Dvd and watch a movie on the Home Theatre ( a number of children's movies supplied through Media Center)

The property is well situated being close to Turangi and Taupo. It can accommodate ten people easily and is modern and easy to maintain. An added advantage was having a very modern barbecue in the courtyard central to the house. The facilities were excellent.
