This comfortable and sunny cottage is adjacent to Matauwhi Bay, the Russell Boating Club, boat ramp and an easy flat walk to the historic charm of Russell village where you can enjoy spectacular waterfront views over a coffee, wine, good food or just take a wander along memory lane. Alternatively you can relax on the front verandah or in the private garden at the back which includes, reputably the 'apple tree' that produces the tastiest apples in Russell - hence the cottage name!
The interior of the cottage is very much open plan with the large kitchen flowing onto the dining area and lounge which opens onto the sunny front verandah. An alcove at the back of the lounge is ideal for relaxing, listening to music or reading your favourite book.
Apple Tree cottage is the perfect place to base yourself and family to enjoy picturesque Russell and the beautiful Bay of Islands.

This is everything you want in a batch. Very comfortable, great for family and close to everything. Just perfect.

Lovely cottage, all the things you need in a great location. The fenced section is great for kids, having the boating club just down the road is great - LOTS of hungry sprats to catch! Larger cottage than i expected, good living space which is often small in typical 'kiwi' baches. Thanks.

We loved Apple Tree Cottage, it was so spacious and extremely well equipped. It had so much character and felt like home. We would recommend this bach to anyone wanting to stay in Russell.
