There is so much you can do in Turangi. Wonderful walks, river and bush or for the energetic the mighty Tongariro alpine crossing. What ever your level of fitness you can find something that suits.

We are in a quiet street, with Tongariro River offering some of the best fly fishing in the world just a short stroll away. There are a couple of rods in the garage. Licence required. We have two mountain bikes you can borrow if you feel energetic, or you could soak away your blues at Tokaanu hot pools only 10 minutes drive away .

Feeling adventurous, there’s white water rafting, indoor rock climbing, horse back riding and a great golf course to name but a few activities available. And when winter comes, Whakapapa ski field is only 45 minutes away.

Not adventurous. No worries, blob out with your book in the peaceful surroundings. Freeview TV gives great reception or bring your Sky decoder for your favorite channel & movies. There’s a dvd player to keep the kids entertained so bring their favorite discs. So with that in mind, take a chance and have some fun.

You will need to bring your linen, towels and food. The home is fully furnished including a dishwasher, microwave, fire and firewood, and electric blankets and duvets on the beds. Plus a double garage with internal access.

We love it and we are sure you will too. Happy to negotiate for week long stays or longer.
