Our family crib is located in "old Wanaka only 4-5 minutes walk to Bremner Bay 15-20 minute walk to town. A sunny 3 bedroom open plan home with a sleep out that has a toilet and shower. The master bedroom has a new queen bed and the two other rooms have a double and single in each Bathroom has a shub (shower over tub) ideal for baby bath. The sleep out has 5 singles, Ideally suited for teenage type accommodation as the beds are OK but not flash.The sleep out is NOT rented separately to the house so your privacy is guaranteed. The house has a multi fuel burner and a heat pump. Car port parking for 1 car with plenty of off street parking at the rear of the house.
What is not to love about Wanaka, located close to some of the best ski fields in NZ i.e Treble Cone, Cardrona, Snow park,Snow farm, with Coronet Peak and the Remarkables just over the hill. It boasts great outdoor activities such as fishing ,tramping, mountain biking and climbing. together with a fantastic township which has great cafes, shops nightlife and facilities.

The bach has a large,high-ceilinged lounge with a great heat pump. Large kitchen and yard. We feel the bach should be booked for parties of ~6 or less, however as the sleepout is in a very poor state of repair (musty, dusty, peeling wallpaper, very old mattresses) and it has only a partial/curtained wall separating the toilet, basin and shower (bathroom #2) from the adjacent sleeping area. The basin and shower did not have water connected when we stayed, but hopefully this is sorted now.

Great bach in Wanaka, well equipped for everything, heat pump was very useful in addition to the fire! Thought we had run out of hot water very quickly, but then realised we hadn't turned on the cylinder... which then had plenty of hot water! Perfect accommodation for our stay in Wanaka.
