Wow!!!! Amazing location and the view is out of this world. Superbly comfortable beds, those topper pads are to die for! Every convenience there, the rain one day didn't hinder us at all - we'll be back in the winter and bring a sackload of wood and stoke up that fire in the corner. I can just imagine, coffee, wine, fire, view and excellent company. Thanks Brenn. We LOVED IT.

The bach has a fantastic view of the Mangawhai estuary from the deck and about 10 mins walk from the surf beach and even closer to beaches in the estuary. Only negative points (and these are monor) are that it seemed an uphill task for the owner to arrange linnen, the place is cluttered, so looks less clean that it actually is and the fact that the owner requests that any guests coming to the bach and finds any consumable items not there that they are to be purchased at the renters cost.

As promised, the views really were spectacular - and inspired us to climb the big dune! It's a cosy and comfortable place...with lots of reading material provided. But we thought the place needs a really good spring clean...and some basic maintenance. Overall, we had a lovely stay though.
