Set in a cul-de-sac directly across the road from lagoon and surf where little ones can swim safely while the older ones are in the adjacent surf. You simply relax with a good book in the sun on the white sand watching them both. The bach is ideal for families with small children to early teens. Beautiful views of the lagoon and surf are the backdrop from your gated deck where you can sit in the sun with that early morning coffee, watching the people go by.

Sleeps 4 in two good sized bedrooms, a fold down sofa/sleeper in the lounge and a further 3-4 in the converted garage attached to the house. There is a single separate toilet, bathroom with shower and another outdoor hot/cold shower, laundry facilities and a small kitchen. Other amenities include Barbecue, Hi Fi, TV aerial (Dish) and small TV with freeview.

The location provides immediate access for bush walks through picturesque Waimama reserve to a separate, secluded little beach for picnics (20min walk) a little further on discoveries are made, such as our local shipwreck, surfing is virtually at you doorstep and a leisurely kayak down the lagoon and estuary in a country setting (kayak provided) is a pleasant distraction.
At the south end of the beach there is a blow hole which performs spectacularly when the local surf is up.
Only 15 minutes from Waihi, where you may view the history of goldmining ,ride a steam train and other historical walks in the local Karangahake Gorge. Whangamata is also only 13-15 mins away for the boat ramp, golf, supermarket, shopping, cafes and a beautiful walk through to the Wentworth falls and its fresh water swimming hole

The local Whiritoa shop makes a great coffee and has nearly everything you might need.
The local surf club bar with great outdoor area is open for drinks from 5:30, daily during the summer
