Grandads Bach was built by my grandparents in the late 1950's and has recently been upgraded to accommodate todays lifestyle. There is a well appointed kitchen opening up to the private rear courtyard.

The Master bedroom has its own french doors opening to a deck which takes advantage of the afternoon sun.

The lounge has an open fireplace.

It is an easy stroll down to the shops and main wharf.

There is good off street parking for cars and boat

The perfect Bach to relax in and end our holiday with. Very central in sleepy Akaroa - we didn't really use the car at all while we were here. Easily walkable to the waterfront restaurants, bars, shops and views. We really loved that this Bach had good character - always nice to see a bookcase full of well thumbed paperbacks.

Great, funky little bach in a beautiful, quiet location, so close to everything.

 Great place to stay

Quiet setting with sunny outdoor spaces. Very comfortable inside with everything you could need.
