“Bach is in the most wonderful location. Lovely grass area to play on, great walks, your own beach and a lovely wide verandah to relax on. Peaceful, private and relaxing and only a few minutes drive to Orewa.”

  1. clovey209

“A lovely location and character filled bach, full of old books and magazines and charm. We appreciate it is old but it could have been a bit cleaner....food, clothing and underwear from previous guests was not the best.
Our children loved the home, the bush setting and the beach. Nearby Hatfields is a great beach for young children. Many thanks”

  1. paulwn31

“A wonderful place to get away from it all, relax on the verandah, cosy up by the fire, eat lots and get some fresh air at the great beach and in the amazing garden. Kids loved it too, wish we could have stayed forever. Thanks”

“A gorgeous old fashioned bach in a fantastic spot. We loved having the beach to ourselves each morning. We wqere actually in the area for a wedding at Wenderholm Regional Park and it was very hand being so close to that as well as to Orewa and Waiwera. Just trying to figure out when we can come back again for longer!”

  1. rebeee575

My two kiddies (under 5) had ample to keep them busy even though the weather was rather miserable. We happened upon the Puhoi farmers market which was just of the many attractions in close proximaty. we loved it loved it loved it .”

“Seaforth is a step back in time. Kids of all all ages will love the beach and the bush walks that surround the cottage. It's out of the way enough to give you privacy and yet only a 5min drive into town. Even though it was late winter, we all really enjoyed our stay!”

  1. antold133

“This is a great place to spend a family holiday. Our children loved the little beach and playing coits on the verandah. The stormy winter weather was a challenge for us all but have given the children some real adventures to talk about.”

“An absolutely incredible spot - we loved the authentic old world charm of the homestead and the native bush setting and birdlife is idyllic. And of course, the private beach! It was just perfect for our winter "getaway" but we'll definately be back in summer too.”

  1. stepld314

“The cottage is the best example of the comfortable old style kiwi batch I think I have ever stayed in. The lovely wide verandah, big lawn and private little beach is a perfect setting for a family holiday. And so close to the city! It makes getting away for the weekend so easy!”

  1. janean265

“Lovely old cottage with a great verandah. Just the spot to laze about on if it is raining. Also easy access to the little beach. So close to Orewa & Waiwera but you feel as if you are far away from everything. We just loved it and will definitely be back. Just how a bach holiday should be.”

  1. adelon957

“Very charming and rustic house in beautiful garden location. Hard to believe it is so close to Auckland.”
