“If you are a biker, this is the place to stay. Bach was super clean and homely, with everything you need for a great holiday (hose, washing machine, deck, maps, mechanical advice on-site). Right beside the forest, 30 sweaty mins to top of Billy T. Wifi signal could be a bit stronger for reliable connection, and boil that damned rooster!”

“20 minutes to the first single track on the "outback" mountain biking trails sure beats an hour long slog up the road.
And the bach had everything we needed for a week on the trails, and was a nice, quiet location away from the city. Very relaxing.”

“This would definitely be a good base to bike from. (Unfortunately, I had to work the 3 days I was there and could not take advantage of the opportunity). Its a nice quiet location, but still only a ten minute drive to town. Only one suggestion: add some communication capability. There is no phoneline, no cell/vodem capability, and the wireless available (from the owner's home) is too far away--not suitable for someone trying to work. But I guess I should have been bioking instead :-)”

“A nice little spot tucked away from it all, yet still pretty close to town. Everything you will need and pretty cosey on a dull miserable winters day.”

“What a great place. If you are a biker this is a must stay. We also took a couple of small kids and it was a great place to base yourself from for early morning rides and days of Rotorua exploration and adventures. The entrance to the forest and bike park for trails like Hot X buns etc is lss than a km from the house.”
