Ohingaroa Bay cabin.

“Great views from bach, everything you would ever need is provided. The toilet and shower facility were separate from the bach which can be a problem if you are not so stable on your feet or have to go to toilet at night. However we didn't find it any trouble and we had two little ones with us.
The one thing I would add is that blinds be provided for the small window facing the drive in addition to curtains as the auto nightlight shines directly into the bed.”

“Exactly as advertised ! The Oysters and Mussells right at your doorstep are fantastic and unique.
The TV reception is unfortunately not that great but a good Book and Night Fishing in the Dinghy that is available for use is the answer !”

“Was the cutest place to stay... Very comfortable cabin with everything you needed! We went for the walk across the bay in the reserve - great views of the Kenepuru Sound. And we did a LOT of fishing!!”

“This is a totally relaxing location, with a great beach on the doorstep. Having the use of the dinghy was great. The bach had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. There is a great outdoor space with a big lawn area and trees for much needed shade! Fantastic place to get away from it all.”

“What a little slice of heaven in a gem of a bay not too far away from Nelson. The scenery is beautiful no matter if brooding and mysterious or sunny and glorious. The accommadation itself is comfortable and affordable.

“A wonderful slice of Kiwi Paradise. We were looking for a simple little kiwi bach to relax and Ohingaroa was ideal. Great rowing, fishing, kayaking, walking and we also did the Waterways boat ride which was great. Liana and Leicester were terrific hosts and Leicester was especially helpful with his fishing tips and he made a great boat tour guide. Thank you and hopefully we will be back.”

“The bach is situated in a private and sheltered bay. Because it is centrally located, it makes a great base to venture on day trips all around the sounds. The bach is clean and well equipped.”

“We weren't looking for 4 star accommodation all we needed was a relaxing "kiwi" bach set up and this is what we had. The owners certainly provided this we had access to a BBQ, cooking facitilies, fridge (kept the beer and wine cold), hot shower, great view, what more could we want!!!!”
