“Orchard View is so well presented. Very tidy and clean with amazingly comfy beds! So quiet and relaxing. The children had a ball helping Len with the animals and going in the river. The location enables you to explore the area and then return to the peace of the countryside so easily.We would love to revisit and would not hesitate recommending the cottage to friends.”

“Loved the farm family atmosphere--the bach was great in every way-Loved being close to Moteuka golf course and Kiaterteri beach, yet in our own place only minutes away.”

“Probably the best feature of the bach is that it is well loved and it shows. Kate had provided a well documented folder of local sights and places, which we read avidly and proceeded to visit most of them. We visited the Riwaka Resurgence which must be quite something to go diving in along with Caanan Reserve to name just two and of course visited the sea coast and marvelled at the wonderful wet lands.”

“Beautiful location, very relaxing and quiet, only 10 minutes drive to Kaiteriteri beach. Bach clean and comfortable. Our children loved seeing the animals and watching the calves getting fed.”

“We had a great time. Kate and Len are very friendly. The place is a in a beautiful wooded valley, very peaceful. Great for kids - horses/alpaca/peacocks/chickens to look at. Bach very comfortable and warm. Highly recommend this bach to anyone.

“Liked the fact it was on an Orchard, semi-rural, private, but close to shops if we had to. Really liked the bike riding up to the Resurgence and river - beautiful. Loved the animals on the farm and the ability to walk around and see them all.

“We chose the bach because of it's surroundings (we do not like staying at motel complexes) - the peace and quiet of rural living. Ross is a keen trout fisherman and mountainbiker and found the surrounding countryside v.much to his liking and I enjoyed my time poking about the local shops and exploring the countryside and shoreline. The bach was very well equipped and comfortable. We certainly would stay there again if the opportunity arose.”
