Foxton Retreat offers you a relaxing holiday destination with the comforts of home including a spacious living area. Located within a short walking distance of the Bird Sanctury and Estuary, the Boat Club and Manawatu river mouth where fishing lovers can enjoy easy access to the ocean or fishing from the wharf. The house caters to families with a children's playground, tennis courts and a skate park nearby. Surf life savers patrol the unspoilt, sand-duned Foxton Beach which is 5 minute drive from the house.
There are plenty of places to eat at including the Boat Club, the Cafe & Wine Bar, two fish & chip shops and the local petrol station sells a number of household items.
The township of Foxton is a short 10 minute drive from Foxton Beach and for the energetic there is a footpath linking the settlements. Foxton has a supermarket, a movie theatre, cafes and a number of craft shops to explore including the local iconic windmill. The city of Palmerston North is approximately 35kms from Foxton.
