Our funky bach has all the conveniences of home. Relax and chill out in the light and spacious open plan lounge and dining areas while taking in the gorgeous view. Cross the road to the lakefront to enjoy the many water activities that Lake Taupo offers. The secret thermal hotspot is right infront of the adjacent carpark! This is the perfect location for your holiday - its also only a short walk to town which has plenty of great places to shop, loads of cafes, restaurants and other tourist attractions.
Please keep in mind that this is our family bach, not a motel, it doesnt have the latest TV, stereo system, etc, but what is there is suitable for a break away. If you want to escape, feel like your on holiday, and enjoy great views then this is the place for you. Lakeside accommodation is normally over $300 per night, so this is giving others the opportunity to stay in a fantastic location for a very small price.
Lake Taupo is a wonderful place to stay in summer with the lake right there....perfect for swimming, wakeboarding, sailing and much more! This is also the ideal destination for those of you who love to ski and snowboard as it is only a 1 hour drive (approx) to Whakapapa which is New Zealand's largest ski area, with more than 65 trails across 1050 hectares! There is also Turangi which is a short drive away, and offers a wide range of activities to suit everyone...fishing in the famous Tongariro River, playing golf, indoor climbing, rafting, tramping, horse treks and more! This really is the ideal holiday destination!
