Newly refurbished open-plan kitchen, lounge, bedroom with separate shower and toilet. One queen bed and one roll-away single bed provided with linen. 2 decks - 1 overlooking native bush to sea views. Walking distance to friendly, local bar/cafe and take-away facilities. 1 min drive to safe rock pools for children and safe white sandy beach for family swimming, surfing, snorkling, diving the Rainbow Warrior, fishing and island locations. 3 min drive to Kauri Cliff golf course. Centrally situated to a variety of day drive activities - Bush walks, harbour cruises, historic towns and museums and popular destinations: eg Kerikeri, Bay of Islands, Whangaroa Harbour, Hokianga, Cape Reinga.
Google Earth location - 2231 Wainui Road, Kaeo - will show the main house next to the Matauri Bay School at the end of the drive. The cottage is the first on the right when you come into the drive from the "T" intersection - on the google map it is next to the "M' of Matauri Bay.
