Whilst only a minute or 2 from the many beaches of Doubtless Bay. Lorikeet Lodge is the perfect base for those that like to take a peaceful step back from the summer beach-front madness.

Lorikeet Lodge is a modern 4 bedroom 2 bathroom Lockwood Home situated on 2 acres of rolling pasture. The tasteful casual style of the décor and furnishings are a cut above what would normally be considered ‘Holiday House’. Brand new carpeting and decking to take in the magical sea and valley views have recently been added.
The regularly tended resort-like gardens that surround the home are populated by diverse bird-life. Kingfishers, Tuis and Lorikeets are a few of the regular visitors. Horses graze on the large farm next door.
Lorikeet Lodge is professionally managed, you will be welcomed when you arrive at the property and should you require any assistance during your stay, help is just a phone call away.
Enjoy lunch at the Carrington Estate Winery after playing an early round of golf at the famed Carrington Golf and Country Club. Doubtless Bay is Northland’s scenic playground.
Take a picnic hamper and explore one of the many fantastic and virtually deserted beaches in the area, take the drive north to Cape Reinga or head inland to take one of the many nature walks and bush walks.
Or do nothing, Lorikeet Lodge is the perfect place to do...nothing.
A fully equipped holiday home with an atmosphere of casual luxury. A BBQ and outdoor furniture for the deck are provided. There is heaps of secure off street parking.
Linen and Towels are optional, bring your own or have them provided. Cleaning upon your departure is also optional, you do it, or have it done, you choose.
If you’re after peace, tranquility, endless summer, empty beaches and rejuvenation, then Lorikeet Lodge and it's fine rural/coastal setting is very worthy of your consideration.
