A home so dated it’s funky all over again. 20 acres and a view out over all of Doubtless Bay. From Hihi to Tokerau, one shoulder right round to the other, Pano-bleeding-ramic.
The white stone home with bronze aluminium joinery has spent ages as an ugly duckling, a place in need of redecorating. Now, it’s gone full circle. The luxurious chocolate brown bold paisley on cream wallpaper is piping groovy. You’ll be delighted to discover the fabulously tacky décor of the Bayview Farm homestead has survived in such grouse condition.
The funkadelic farmhouse at the end of the long drive is not the most amazing thing about Bayview Farm. Nor is the 48 postcard wide view of Doubtless Bay. Much of the furniture is not new. It is clean, tidy, functional and perfect for slothing over during a break at the spaciest pad in all the Bay.
Bayview Farm is a farm sized property. Tucked just in behind beach-house suburbia, how it has escaped being sliced up by a developer is anyone’s guess. 20 acres of pasture, much of it with the gaspworthy view.
There are about 5 flat acres directly in front of the homestead, ideal camp-sites, all with that OMG outlook. Bring your footballs, baseball or softball gear (whichever way you’re inclined), kites, badminton, model aeroplane gear and mountain bikes. Volley-ball, Go home Stay home, Hide and Seek and Bullrush.
The tariff quoted is for 4 people, adults or children. The 2 sofas in the lounge fold out into double beds, this effectively raises the household berths to 8.
Bayview Farm is professionally managed, you will be welcomed when you arrive and should you require any assistance during your stay, help is just a phone call away.
It’s a mere minute or two’s drive from the world renowned beaches of Doubtless Bay yet it sits on 20 acres. Bayview Farm with its grandstand views of the entire bay, if divided into sections, would become a multi million dollar property.

Special conditions: Pets by negotiation prior to booking confirmation. Smoking is strictly outside only. Cleaning is optional, you do it just prior to leaving and save $50.00 or have it done on your behalf, the choice is yours. If required, cleaning equipment supplied. Duvets for the beds are supplied, not for the sofa/beds. It is preferred guests bring their own linen/towels. The quoted tariffs are for 4 guests, additional guests (a maximum of 4) - $20 per person, per night. Campers, $5 each, per night.
