Perehipe Ridge is special. Firstly, there is the seclusion. Tucked down the end of a 'Right of Way' drive, she is the last house on the ridge that stands above Perehipe Bay. A half acre bordered by bush and views, not fences.

Then there is the extraordinary outlook. When standing in the lounge, the panoramic elevated view looking down into picturesque Perehipe Bay creates the illusion that you’re on the flight deck of a seaplane about to land on Doubtless Bay. It’s a postcard of a view.

Tastefully appointed with furnishings that could be considered a cut above average holiday home decorating, the décor is completed by a collection of fine original artworks by local artists.

Perehipe Ridge is a minute’s drive from the bay it overlooks. Tucked in behind a headland on the Doubtless Bay side of Karikari Peninsula, Perehipe Bay is a beautiful, sandy, safe, family-friendly beach. The protected location makes for simple and safe boat launching, access to the world renowned fishing of Doubtless Bay.

The Far North is the home of many scenic jewels, arguably NZ's finest beaches, Tokerau Beach is a few minutes one way, Matai Bay a few minutes the other way. Perehipe Ridge is ideally located to explore them all.

Spotting dolphins frolicking in Doubtless Bay from the flight-deck of Perehipe Ridge is not that unusual. If you’re lucky you’ll see Orca. The view extends clean across New Zealand, in the distance you’ll see the sand dunes of Ahipara on the West Coast.

Special conditions: Guests are welcome to clean the property prior to their departure or have the task done on their behalf @ $50. ~ Guests are welcome to bring their own linen/towels or have them provided @ $15 per person. ~ Perehipe Ridge's half acre has few fences and is unsuitable for pets. ~ Smoke if you must, sorry, it has to be outside. ~ The lower unused levels of the home have decking that is in mid-construction. Whilst the decking is down, it is without railing. Toddlers will require an alert eye.
