Bach or holiday home | Kuaotunu | #10205
Get out of town and into holiday mode on the gorgeous Coromandel. Enjoy this new, three bedroom, modern beach bach, in the ‘Golden Valley’ sub-division of Kuaotunu.
Nestled between the bustling centres of Whitianga (15 minutes) and Matarangi (10 minutes), this peaceful and picturesque setting is the ideal R & R HQ for the busy city-dweller to shake of their suburban stress.
A lazy 400 meter stroll to the golden sands of Kuaotunu beach, this stylish, modern-classic, colour-steel home, has everything you could wish for to make your holiday low-key and care-free:
This lovely home features a curved, cedar timber, tongue-in-groove ceiling in the dining/living area, as well as a fully landscaped, sub-tropical garden paradise on a massive, elevated section (1300 sq/m).
Kuaotunu Store is a leisurely ten-minute stroll along the beach, or follow the footpath opposite the tennis courts. It caters for just about every holiday whim, including LPG, petrol, fish bait, dive-tank refills, beer, wines and spirits, as well as the largest ice-creams anywhere on the Coromandel Peninsula!
If you decide to venture further afield, the options are endless. Beautiful Otama Beach and Opito Bay are a short drive away. Head over to Whitianga and check out the cafes and art/craft galeries/hideaways. There are a myriad of eateries there, from ‘cheap-and-cheerfuls’, through to the more upmarket establishments. Check out the new Waterways building development or catch the boat from ‘Ferry Landing’ across the bay and explore the historical Cooks Landing and nearby beaches.
Matarangi has a 18 hole ‘Links’ golf course, with a modern club-house, serving brilliant food as well as a fully stocked bar. Matarangi beach is talked about as the most ‘kiddie friendly’ on the Coromandel Peninsula.

The property was beautiful! A lot of work has been put into the landscape to make it picturesque, the village of Kuaotunu was a short walk down the road, and we had the beach completely to ourself every time we went! The house is fully stocked with all your living needs and the selection of DVDs has been tastefully selected. I would rate this property 50/5 stars if I could! Will definitely be staying here on my next trip to the peninsula!
