Bach or holiday home | Pakawau Beach | #10361
Living the Kiwi Dream can be a reality! It's charming, it's romantic, it's 2 story and plenty of mowed grounds to play on. A wild life pond and native birds in a small bush block at the rear. Bring a canoe as the inlet laps a tiny beach at the edge of the lawn. The cottage is open plan, with a sunroom leading onto a large deck-ideal to laze and watch the sun play on the water. Dream the day away in total tree-lined privacy or snuggle by the fire for night time coziness. The cottage is small, warm, on the way to Farewell Spit and 5 minutes from Collingwood.
A Car can take you to Wharariki, Kiohoka Lakes, Bainham, Naked Possum, Heaphytrack, Salisbury Bridge. School house cafe, courthouse, Paddle crab. and endless local wonders.
Special conditions: pets ( $10 per night per pet if you clean up after them, bones sticks etc) and smoking allowed outside only. Conservation and respect for natives and wild life expected. Tank water and septic tank facilities. consideration expected.

Lovely spot private and great sea views. Lovely tree filled garden and bird life. Comfy beds, bath and living areas. Kitchen had all the necessary items and she kindly left a small bottle of milk and flowers on the table. Very nice. It would have been nice to access the beach from the house but the track was deep bog, but it was a short walk by road and not far to cafe and evening dining which was great. We enjoyed our stay.
The cottage is a kiwiana bach set in beautiful private and peaceful grounds - wish we had more time to explore the beautiful Golden Bay! Oh and we tried one of the apples that had fallen from the tree - yummy! Thanks Kyra :)
