  • Quiet location next to beach

Quiet location next to beach. Access to beach was dicey for kids when we visited but understand this is temporary. Comfy, clean and well stocked with kitchen/bathroom supplies. Care is needed on descending steep staircase from main bedroom.

    Owner/manager responds:

Yes the beach access is not easy at the moment but the Arawa Street access should be fixed soon and then it will be easy to reach the beach quickly. At the moment it is still possible to get to the beach but it is very difficult for small children to negotiate the large temporary concrete blocks at the end of our right-of-way. I agree the stairs must be descended carefully and the very young and the very elderly might find them awkward.

The house is so charming perched on the top of a hill, with a huge vista of the ocean. The upstairs bedroom is very big and sunny, with beautiful decor. The music and board game collections were great for rainy days. The house was clean and tidy. And very private and quiet. This house was perfect for a couple wanting to get away from the city and relax. Thank you!

  • A lazy wander to paraparam or raumati

A lazy wander to paraparam or raumati. Garden great for kids. Beach access a little dicey for toddlers but everything else made up for it. To wake up to the sound of the waves and to have beautiful views every morning is definitely worth it.

A fantastic place to stay - to fall asleep and wake up looking out onto the sea was magical. Great little Bach with everything we needed and more.
