This award winning, architecturally designed, beach front holiday house, boasts 4 double bedrooms (one with double bed bunks) and a garage loft, ideal for children.

The unique design means each bedroom has it’s own sea view and deck, allowing for some individual privacy and making it ideal for groups.

With a substantial covered deck area serving as a communal space for dining and relaxing, you will feel like you are at an island retreat, with the stunning white sand of Whangapoua beach literally at your doorstep.

This is a very special property, in a prime location, where the vision was to create a holiday that was camping with all the comforts. This is not a suburban transplant. There is no ensuite and no dishwasher. It does though come with many hidden surprises, such as a cosy indoor open fireplace for cool evenings, ideal for toasting marshmallows while listening to the sound of the surf!

Special conditions: Maximum number of persons is 12 (including teenagers, adults and children up to 12 years;) Base rate is for up to 8 persons over the age of 12 years (teenagers and adults); Additional teenagers and adults up to 12 charged at $50 p/person p/night; Pets allowed only outside

    What an absolutely beautiful spot for a large family group. I'm afraid we truly fell in love with this property. We especially loved the many nooks and areas to rest and talk and play without getting under each other's feet, yet share meals and common space. The bach was in spotless and perfect condition when we arrived after a long journey. So grateful for the many thoughtful features. Thank you for sharing your precious family bach with us. What an honor!

  • This is a great place for a large group

    This is a great place for a large group. We were a family group of 3 generations and we all had space to ourselves as well as the communal area. Wonderful location on the dunes.
