We had a lovely time lots to do and see in the Nelson area. The cottage was cozy and having the wood burner made for a very enjoyable stay even though the weather outside was cold. Beautiful views of the estuary and a lovely tranquil setting.
We stayed at Miro cottage, absolutely loved it. Everything we needed was there, it was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented and a very comfortable bed. Lovely location, right on the edge of the inlet with good surrounding garden and deck, we even got to use the bar-b-que. Just a short drive into Marpua, decent beer at the GoldenBear and highly recommend The Apple Shed, our fish lunch was superb, overlooking the water, perfect. Ferry and biking on Rabbit Island delightful.
We loved the retro feel combined with the comfortable & clean facilites. The view couldnt have been more wonderful changing with the tide. Although on the owners property you had your own space & privacy. The Wifi was good and information booklet very usefull. A great stay.
