Bach or holiday home | Little Oneroa | #11260
This holiday home is conveniently situated with fabulous views back across the water to Oneroa Bay. It sleeps six and has been tastefully furnished and offers three double bedrooms, two upstairs each with a comfortable queen sized bed and a downstairs sleepout with the option of a queen size bed or bunks.
Only a 250m walk through a quiet bush track to a secluded cove. A private track steps you into the adjoining bush reserve and leads to one of the island’s popular walking tracks.
A coastal track will take you to the cafes, bars and shops in Oneroa via the beautiful swimming beach of Little Oneroa only 15 minutes walk away.
Ideal for a family or join with another couple (or two) for a weekend without the kids. Alternatively if they are older give the kids the sleep-out. Sit on the sunny deck to soak in the peace and quiet while you listen to the native birds, or explore the beaches and vineyards the island has to offer.
You can bring your bikes free on the ferry for a cycling excursion; the Matiatia ferry is within easy reach. Swim, snorkel, fish or kayak.
Enjoy the special, island quality of Waiheke for a weekend escape away from the city. Forget sitting in traffic queues to reach your destination. Sit back for 40 minutes on the ferry and your break or adventure has already begun.
Full kitchen facilities available. Linen provided. 3 minute walk to the bus.

Location fine, track to beach. Property itself small. No deck furniture so despite fine weather had to take meals inside. The thing that made us most mad was the fact we had to make our own beds on arrival, despite paying extra for linen and clean the place, including toilet and shower, vacuuming etc. None of this mentioned on the web site. As we were catching an early ferry we had to get up at 6 am to accomplish the long list of chores supplied, this completely spoilt our holiday
The deck furniture is in the cupboard. Our web site on Bookabach says: 'Linen provided. Cleaning: Visitors to clean-up and leave the property as found. Laundry charge $50.00 per stay.' We don't state that we will make the beds for you we simply state that we provide the linen. The tidy up time is needed to leave the property as you found it. Note to all future renters .... If you want your beds made and don't want to tidy up when you leave please use www.hotels.com
A delightful family beach cottage with all facilities needed- even for a stormy night! Our only wish was not being able to go done to the beach cove due to the weather. Easy access to all attractions especially Mudbrick Vineyard - a must!TIP- bring you car on ferry- better economy. This was a great trip down memory lane from a WA ex pat!! Thanks Patrick for your positive comments. Jos.????
Hi Laura. We do apologize about the bathroom. It is the first time in 5 years that we have not personally prepared the house for guests. We allowed friends to stay the week before and trusted them to leave it clean and tidy. Unfortunately they let us down. I am very sorry, it will not happen again. Lesson learnt. We have always had a very high standard and were really unhappy about their negligence. Patrick
