Description

The water front apartment offers you the ideal base if you want to escape the “hustle and bustle” of modern life or for a true kiwi beach holiday. Fresh fish for dinner anyone? Catch a snapper while you unpack your car! Watch the sun and moon rise across the water.

The small coast settlement of Kaimaumau is a well kept secret, situated 38km north of Kaitaia, on the Rangaunu Harbour and the beautiful 21km long East Beach. Most visitors to the Far North don’t get to experience East Beach.

If you like boating, fishing, diving, swimming, surfing, bird watching, kayaking, walking, beach combing or just relaxing then this is the place for you!

You can fish from the reserve in front of the house or take an early morning or evening fishing trip on the hosts fully surveyed 18ft Stabicraft boat or surf cast East Beach or Nineymile Beach which is only 30mins away. Bring your own boat we have plenty of room for parking.

Kaimaumau is perfectly situated as a base to explore the Far North with Nineymile Beach, Cape Reinga, Spirits Bay, Henderson Bay and Rarawa Beach, all breath taking beaches with in easy reach.

By taking the 4wd to East Beach or a boat trip across the harbour and out to sea to simply experience the tranquillity of the area or catch some fish, you will have an experience to remember!
