the location was great, but the house itself needed a full spring clean, even tho the previous tenants had tidied up the place was so dirty, cob webs, dust, bathroom/shower needed a good clean, the cups were all dirty, curtains are in urgent need of replacing, ripped and hanging off. The fact we were never told there was not washing machine was a real let down. the set out of the property and the location were great but a shame about the rest of it
Recommend a visit to Lonely Bay and the walk to Cathedral Cove, take your togs with you for a swim when you reach the beach, go early to avoid the crowds, there is not much parking and its very popular. A visit to Purangi Winery is also a cool thing to do especially if its wet, kids loved it there with the indoor table tennis, fuseball etc. The wine tasting is fun and the wood-fired pizza is delicious. Lots to do in this beautiful area.
